Mary, Martha and the Unconditional Love of God

In this message, we open the new year by looking at God’s unconditional love for the weary perfectionist through the story of Mary and Martha. In doing so, we will meditate on the free gift of grace and man’s inability to receive it on any merit other than the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ.

The Person of the King: His Flight & Return

In this message, we'll look at three mini-stories following the birth of Jesus; all of which Matthew sees as proof from the Old Testament that Jesus is indeed the promised Messianic King who not only identifies with the sufferings and sorrows of His people, but has come to serve as the greater Moses to bring deliverance from the bondage of sin.

The Person of the King: His Adoration

In this message, we'll look at the story of the Wise Men who came from afar to worship King Jesus, along with their encounter of King Herod. In doing so, we'll look at the conflict that has historically existed between the Kingdom of God and the kingdoms of man, and be encouraged to receive Matthew's invitation to submission and worship of our true King and Savior, Jesus Christ.

The Person of the King: His Birth

In this message, we'll look at the birth of Jesus as told through the lens of Joseph. In doing so we'll learn why Joseph was willing to believe that the child in his fiancée's womb was indeed conceived of the Holy Spirit and born to save His people from their sins. We will then explore why Jesus is worthy of our belief and trust for salvation as well.

In this message, we'll look at the genealogy of Jesus Christ; proving Him to be the rightful, and long-awaited Messianic King, who has come to save us from our sins.

In this message, we’ll look at some of the major expectations in the first century concerning the promised Messiah and His Kingdom— and why it was that so many people missed Jesus when He came. In doing so, we’ll consider some of the same temptations in our day, and how Matthew faithfully serves to point us to the true King & Kingdom as found in Jesus Christ.

The Time of the End

In this message, we will examine some of the prophecies given to Daniel concerning the very end of human history. In doing so, we will consider our assured hope of Jesus' triumphant return, where He will overthrow all enemies, raise the dead, and set up His eternal Kingdom where we shall rule with Him forever.

Do Not Put Your Trust in Princes

In this message, we will look at one of the most detailed prophecies in all of the bible concerning the future of Israel and the sufferings they would endure in preparation for the coming Messiah. In doing so, we will see God’s sovereign authority over human governments, as well as His redemptive purposes for His people who are under them-- so that we might place our hope in Him.

Angels, Demons, & The Unseen Realm

In this message, we will have the curtains pulled back from the conflict going on in our earthly realm, to see the conflict going on in the heavenly realm. In doing so, we see how God uses our prayers to accomplish His redemptive purposes in both.

The 70 Weeks of Daniel

In this message, we will look at one of the most difficult, yet beautifully precise prophecies concerning God’s redemptive plan for the ages. In doing so, we will be encouraged to look to Jesus as our appointed Messiah and Savior.
