Daniel's Prayer

In this message, we'll look at how amidst suffering and longing to understand what God is doing, Daniel prays. In doing so, he gives us a model prayer for how to commune with God.

 

Scripture: Daniel 9:1-19

The Rise & Fall of the Little Horn

In this message, we’ll look at Daniel’s near-term vision concerning Antiochus Epiphanes as the foreshadow of the Antichrist to come. We’ll consider how this prophecy encourages and emboldens God’s people to press on in faith and obedience to Jesus Christ.

Beasts, Antichrist’s, and The Son of God

In this message, we’ll look at Daniel’s visions of the four beasts, the Ancient of Days, and the Son of Man. In doing so, we’ll find prophetic hope in God’s revelation of the future. Seeing that in the end, Jesus Christ will have the final say over the earth and His Kingdom will be established forever and ever.

Liars, Lions, and The Living God

In this message, we’ll look at the miraculous story of God’s deliverance of Daniel from both the mouths of lions, and the schemes of men. In doing so, we’ll consider five faith lessons for all followers of Christ who are experiencing persecution for their faith, along with one amazingly divine parallel.

In this message, we'll see that the writing on the wall is the judgement of God that stops us in our tracks. We will also look at what the message to the King of Babylon was and what it means for us.

A Lesson in Humility

In this message, we’ll look at the humbling of Nebuchadnezzar and his testimony that it is “the Lord Most High who rules over the earth-- not men.” In doing so, we’ll look at the pride that exists in our own hearts, and the example of the humility of Jesus Christ that leads us to faith & repentance.

Faith under Fire

In this message, we’ll look at one of the most famous passages in all the Bible-- the story of Daniel’s friends and the fiery furnace. In doing so, we’ll consider what it looks like for God’s people to remain faithful in our worship of Him in the midst of suffering and not bow down to the idols of our day.

The God Who Reveals & Rules

In this message, we’ll look at Nebuchadnezzar’s dream and its interpretation given to Daniel by God. In doing so, we will see that God is the one who is able to reveal the future, because He is the one who rules over it; therefore we can have hope in the midst of uncertain times.

In this message we will see how God's grace is brightest amidst our most challenging days.

Faithfulness in Babylon

In this message, we’ll examine Judah’s isolation, indoctrination, and assimilation while in exile in Babylon. In doing so, we’ll learn of Daniel and his friends' faithfulness to God amidst temptation & compromise. We will also consider what faithfulness looks like for us as followers of Christ in a hostile world.
